Everything got commercialised.
Somewhere along the way, choosing where to go stopped being fun. Every list is the same ten places. Everything has been ranked, rated and reviewed by somebody.

LEE KONG AIK, WHO BUILT THIS
That is the whole idea. yipee deals your group a set of places and the group turns them over together until one lands. Then you just go.
We do not write reviews. We are not critics and we have not eaten at 1,181 restaurants.
What we do is read the people who have. Singapore has a genuinely good food-writing scene - Eatbook, Seth Lui, ladyironchef, Daniel Food Diary, Honeycombers and a dozen more - and their lists are scattered across a decade of posts. We keep the index. Every place we deal is one somebody wrote about, and we link back to whoever wrote it.
Then we do the one thing none of them can: we check. A list is out of date the day after it is published, ours included. So we re-check the deck and stamp when we last looked, and a place that has shut comes out.
We do not track you. No cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
We do not sell placement. Nobody can pay to be in your deck, or to come out earlier in it.
We do not tell you what is best. The deck fits the plan you described. Which one you go to is the group's business.
yipee is built in Singapore by Lee Kong Aik, who got tired of googling "best places for a company dinner" and getting the same three results as everyone else.
